current projects,
in the works or on the reserves;
Sapphi and Alex is a feature film in development about a hedonistic couple who decide to build a more structured life together.
a film called "sapphi and alex,"
where hedonistic people have internal struggles
about what the nature of their relationship entails
it's a film whose production values and speed
can be augmented enormously by diffusion
(largely focusing on its use on the final cleanup aspects)
and interesting renderings can be made and
merged in live screenings;
imagine a three-screen setup
that has different colours
expressing specific things
depending on where you sit in the theatre
i would also try to improve temporal diffusion
with edits to the formula
to make it more in line with 2-d animation
i need to write more stories for the project first,
and make sure they're well-recieved
the film programme commissions researched artists to make films with new technology, shown in unorthodox places — stores, bars, and so on.
a film program; where researched artists make films,
using some new technology,
and the films are shown in unorthodox places
like stores, and bars, and so on;
they have to be able to be followed visually,
sonically (its components need to work on their own),
and they need to tell a real story (fiction stories only)
when i came up with the idea in 2025,
i wanted to have companies' products help fund the films
like some advertisement for them,
the way they do fashion films
(specifically, fashion films by the likes of saint laurent),
but now we could actually make products in-house
and vertically integrate the production (like saint laurent)
and use the films to sell the products.
this would also require social presence
to pull off successfully (as in, economically successful),
and unless we have a real tweeter in the ranks,
it would be by way of real world events.
audlayers is a sensor-driven music system: the number of people in a room controls how many instrument layers play, to a beat.
audlayers;
the project where i set up a sensor
that tracks how many people are in a given store,
and then layers of musical elements play accordingly
i've made mock-versions of the program so far,
with a few demos,
one for a version written in python,
and one for a version written in c
the idea for these last two especially,
in the abstract,
is to beautify the world outside,
so much so,
that it incentivises people to go outside
